This environment project was made in 2021 thinking in the Gaia, original character of Mariana Araújo.
SKETCH AND PROCESS
Initially I would draw a complete composition, with the character and enviroment, but in the end I chose for tell to Gaia story through the background.
MOODBOARD
Besides the biggest reference, Gaia, I used for inspirations color palette and composition of artwork with similar feelings, and elements of "Bridge of Terabithia" movie universe.
