This background concept was made thinking about the TV show "Akedo", this environment would be a marketplace in the game naming the series. In this location characters visit to buy items and new warriors.

I used the show's own warriors as a reference for the buildings, as well as nostalgic elements from the gamer world, real world environments and great futuristic works.
PROCESS
After making some very simple thumbnails, I decided on a viewing angle for the illustration. After adding the elements to the sketch and making the lineart, I gave priority to the holograms and luminous parts. The painting I did after a simple grayscale, using the photoshop's tool, gradient map.
